Cell Migration Seminars
Since May 2020, I have been co-organizing and co-hosting a weekly seminar on cell migration. Cell Migration Seminars has been a wonderful opportunity for scientists from around the world to share their latest research in cell migration.
We have highlighted the work of students, postdocs, and faculty, both new and established. Work presented spans subcellular mechanism to sculpting of tissues during morphogenesis.

Art Collaboration
Every day, scientists witness unparalleled beauty and wonder when we observe biological phenomena under microscopes, but it is rare that the general public gets to share in this experience. Artist Sarina Mitchel has taken images I have captured of fluorescently labeled epithelial cells under static or migratory conditions and used these as the basis for creating an ongoing series of fine art. We hope that by bringing art and science together we can share the wonder of the natural world.
